The Tri-Valley Conservation Awards Gala in Manotick, was a very special evening for St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School from Russell. The school was awarded as the top high school in the Ottawa and Valley area for their Environmental Stewardship efforts. Shown with the paddle that was awarded first place is Ann Jackson, our Environmental Lead Teacher, and two students from our High Skills Major Program-Quade Digweed and Gordon LaPierre. They are joined by Principal Richard James.
