Welcome to Cooperative Education at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School. As you are aware, Co-op is a wonderful opportunity to explore career options in business and industry. This experience-based program will confirm career pathways for some and help others make the transition to full time employment after graduation. We hope your semester provides you with a rewarding experience within your chosen placement.
Before you go to your work placement, the Ministry of Education requires all cooperative education students to demonstrate an understanding of pre-placement expectations. The Pre-placement session ensures coop candidates have job-readiness skills, health and safety understanding and a clear understanding of school and placement expectations.  Your teacher has a photocopy titled "Student To-Do Checklist" for you.  Use the checklist to track your progress in regards to your pre-placement assignments.
