My ideal classroom is a quiet, productive, safe and fun environment where risk taking is encouraged; especially when it comes to problem solving.  Ultimately I'm looking for you to respect yourself and others in the classroom, to come in prepared to work everyday, and to take ownership for your learning. I am here to help, both in class and at lunch, so please take advantage of the extra help if you are having difficulty.

Remember that we will spend almost 7000 minutes together during the semester.  Aside from all of the other reasons, why would we not have a respectful and chill environment?

Oh and more thing, I have a sincere dislike of cel phones in my class.   You will be expected to put them in the designated area if you bring them to class :)
