The student will explore the language, techniques and traditions of drawing. The unit provides a basic to intermediate foundation of both design and realistic drawing. The unit will focus on the exploration of various drawing techniques and their application as it relates to a foundational approach to drawing. Throughout the unit, the student will be exposed to different drawing media and will have an opportunity to work with a selected grouping of media to both practice and develop creative artworks by exploring a variety of subjects.
